Throwback Thursday #TBT

I love old class photos like this.
With the boys in their denim overalls and the girls in the cute dresses. I wonder how these two little girls faired in a classroom full of boys.

This is my Grandpa Neel's class. The photograph was taken in Peoa, Utah sometime in the 1930s. Grandpa is the 1st little boy on the left side of the front row.

I know there are a lot of Photoshop tips, tricks, and classes that teach one to restore old photos to their original state.
As cool Photoshop is I have to say that I love old photos just the way they are. Age gives a photo character that nothing else can. I love every wrinkle, crease, and spot where the photo has faded.

Throwback Thursday #TBT

I just scanned this one in today.

On the back of this photograph someone has written, "Joshua Wriley Neel with little Lloyel."

I love this photograph of father and son. Little Loyal's pinstripe suit is just too adorable.

With the help of familysearch.org and ancestry.com, I was able to find some information on this father and son. Joshua Wriley Neel is the brother of my great great-grandfather Thomas Marion Neel.

I believe the boy in the picture is Joshua's son, Loyal Joshua Neel.
